Warren A. Cole, “Pops”, age 89, longtime resident of Milford and husband to the late Eleanor Kelly Cole, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 8, 2014 at Milford Hospital.
Born on October 1, 1925 in North Branford, CT, he was a graduate of Hillhouse High school and Boardman Trade School. He served with pride and honor in the US Navy during WWII.
Pops was a lifelong licensed electrician.
He is survived by Scott L. Cole and his wife Barbara, Susan L. Cole, Christian L. Cole and Tracy L. Crutchfield and her husband Gene; his cherished grandchildren, Jaime Cole, Alison Canney, Bradley Cole and John Cole; great grandchildren, Camryn, Sophia, Summer and Charolette and many more loving friends and family.
In addition to his wife Eleanor, he was predeceased by his son, Steven L.Cole.
His family would like to thank all of the staff at the VA Hospital in West Haven for their care and kindness.
Friends and family may call on Wednesday, December 10th from 4 to 7 pm at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT 06460. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VA Hospital, 950 Campbell Ave., West Haven, CT 06516.
