Helen M. Doubek
Helen M. Doubek of West Haven entered into eternal rest on December 5, 2014. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul W. Doubek.
Helen was born in Norwalk on October 24, 1926, daughter of the late Earl and Jennie Fox.
As a longtime resident of Milford, Helen was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing costumes and clothing for her family.
She is survived by her two sisters, Blanche Johnson and Nettie Santo, both of Norwalk. She was the loving mother of Denise Corkum and her husband Michael of Boca Raton, FL and Nancy Plant and her husband Andrew of West Haven. Beloved grandmother of four granddaughters, Korinne and Stephanie Heenan of Florida, Amanda Plant of Milford, and Katherine Plant of Wallingford. She is also survived by a great-granddaughter, Nyla and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 N. Broad Street, Milford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, December 11th at 10:30 am in St. Mary’s Church, Gulf Street, Milford. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Buckingham Ave. Milford.
