Milford police arrested Kenan Lipscomb, 28, of Bridgeport and charged him with sexual assault after they received a complaint from the YMCA administration regarding a suspicious incident on July 25.
In a statement released to the press on Monday, Public Information Officer, Jeffrey Nielsen said that Lipscomb was taken into custody on Friday afternoon after police concluded their investigation.
Police accuse Lipscomb of inappropriately touching a juvenile in the building.
Lipscomb is charged with fourth-degree sexual assault and risk of injury.
He was released on a promise to appear in court on Aug. 19.
