The Foran High boys tennis team lost to Sheehan of Wallingford, 5-2, on Friday.
Brad Orban at No. 1 singles and Kyle Lockwood at second singles posted wins for the Lions.
Singles: Brad Orban (F) defeated Joe Chordas 6-0, 6-0; Kyle Lockwood (F) defeated Carl Thurston 7-5, 6-4; Tommy Laydon (S) defeated Dana Xu 5-7, 7-6 (7-4), 7-6 (7-2) and David Truong (S) defeated Matt Downing 7-5, 6-1.
Doubles: Andrew Gilmore/John Oliveira (S) defeated Bryce Ciccaglione/Ryan Harrington 6-2, 6-1; Matt Pereira/Paxton Stowik (S) defeated Pat LaPenne/Matt Rubenstein 6-0, 6-4 and Gerry Chica/Mikey Laydon (S) defeated Chris Flynn/Drew Lenz 6-1, 6-1.
