Vitelli, Gobany score goals in 2-2 tie

The Milford ice hockey team played Wilton to a 2-2 tie on Dec. 23.
Noah Ericson had 30 saves for coach Sal Follo’s Indians (0-2-1).
After a scoreless first period, Will Vitelli put Milford in front with a goal at the 33-second mark of the second stanza. Zach White had the assist.
Wilton (0-1-1) tied things with a power-play goal at 4:01, before Milford’s Andrew Gobany made it 2-1 at 13:01 of the period. Tommy Sampson and Brandon Argyros had assists.
Wilton tied it at 2-2 at 6:11 of the third and the teams played through a scoreless overtime.
