Two flu clinics will take place at the Milford Senior Center, 9 Jepson Drive, Monday, Oct. 5 and Monday, Oct. 19 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., according to Deepa Joseph, director of the Milford Health Department.
To pre-register, contact insurance Specialists Jackie Sconzo or Laura Daneault at 203-877-5131 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday. Have insurance information available.
The Milford Health Department will offer Fluzone High Dose for individuals 65 years old.
The Milford Health Department recommends that all individuals age 65 and older receive the High Dose influenza vaccine. Fluzone High Dose is the first and only influenza vaccine designed specifically for people 65 years of age and older, officials said.
