The Milford Jr. Midget Eagles Cheer team is state champions. The Eagles competed in Springfield (Mass.) at the New England Pop Warner Regional Championship on Nov. 8-9.

The team is guided by head coach Jennifer Magdon. Her assistants are Michelle Connor, Yvonne Jennings, Kyle Thompson, Jen Murphy and Kasey Gagstetter. The student demonstrators are Leah Zinsky, Liv Massa, Des Gill and Maddie Murphy.
The cheer program is headed up by Leigh Torres and Deb Goncalves.
The team members are: Brianna Aguilar, Lia Burrows, Hayley Calogero, Cassidy Davis, Stephanie Ferrara, Amber Furce, Roy Gless, Katelyn Griffin, Leala Harris, Natalie Hubler, Alexis Jennings, Kayla Jurzyck, Audrey Lane, Sumin Lee, Yasmina Lingane, Alexis Liscio, Trinity Lynn, Mackenzie Maher, Natalie Massa, Elle Mckenna, Molly Mckenna, Eryn Mower, Joanna Nelson, Han Nguyen, Sunny Nguyen, Elma Radoncic, Emily Rednak, Annie Sember, Kelly Strom, Courtney Thompson and Gina Thompson.
Milford Cheer is selling Sound Tigers Tickets for $20 each. The game is Sunday, Nov. 30, at 3 p.m. Contact coach Jennifer Magdon at 203-450-1681 for tickets.
They will be hosting a Holiday Fair with numerous vendors on Saturday, Nov 29, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at West Shore Rec. The admission is $5. If you bring a bag of bottles or cans for their bottle drive you get in for free.
