Jane Mobilio, 69 of West Yarmouth, Cape Cod and formerly of Milford, CT passed away peacefully on Monday, March 17.
Jane fought a courageous battle against many health issues for the past thirty years, the last of which was insurmountable and she is finally without pain.
Jane was born, raised and married in Bridgeport, moved to Milford to raise her own family whom she loved dearly, especially the grandchildren who are all fine teenagers. Her working years began after her daughters graduated from High School. The last ten years of her working career were spent at a job and with people she loved at Sikorsky. It was cut short by health issue which contributed to an early retirement.
Over the years, Jane took pride in the finely crafted ceramic gifts given to family and friends and she hoped they were cherished as much as she enjoyed giving them. Jane saw good in everyone and hoped they saw good in her. Her wish was for friends and family to have happy memories of her when her lifews done. Jane will be fondly thought of forever.
Jane is survived by her husband of forty seven years, Leonard, and daughters Lisa (Joe) of Dudley, MA and Deanna Flanagan of Milford, CT. Also granddaughters Taylor and Morgan Gallegan, Megan Flanagan and grandson Brian Flanagan. Additionally, sister Nancy (Louis) Cimmino of Tucson Arizona and many loving nieces and nephews.
Jane was predeceased by parents Edwin and Sophie Swanson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am Saturday, March 29th in St. Mary Church, 72 Gulf St., Milford. Visiting hours will be held from 4-8 pm Friday, March 28th in the Cody-white Funeral Home, 107 N. Broad St., Milford.
