The annual Milford St. Patrick’s Day Parade has been set for Saturday, March 15, and the first in a series of fund-raisers is planned this weekend.
The dinner fund-raiser will honor this year’s grand marshal, Kevin McGrath, and Miss Emerald Isle, Julia Gaul.
It will be Sunday, Feb. 16, at 6 p.m., at Aldario’s Restaurant. Tickets are $40 and help pay for the parade. For tickets, call Martin Hardiman at 203-878-2865.
Other fund-raisers include a night of Irish comedy at Crush Sports Cafe Saturday, Feb. 22, at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10, and there will be a cash bar. Tickets can be purchased by contacting Chris McEnerney at 203-376-0931 or by email cnmce@hotmail.com
A pancake breakfast will take place Sunday, March 9, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Masonic Hall in downtown Milford. Tickets are $7. Reservations are not required.
The parade will be Saturday, March 15, stepping off at 1 p.m. in downtown Milford.
