The Milford Board of Education will hold a special meeting tonight, Jan. 6, to discuss budget priorities.
At an earlier meeting, members Chris Saley and John DeRosa made and seconded a motion to add to the agenda discussion and changing of the “assumptions and priorities for 2014-2015.”
Saley said it is a very important discussion for the board to have, especially because the November election brought new members to the board.
DeRosa said he agreed with Saley.
The motion didn’t pass, however, and the item was not added to the agenda at the time.
According to the agenda for tonight’s meeting, it is for “discussion of changing the [budget] assumptions and priorities for the academic school year 2014-2015 as requested by board members Christopher Saley, Dr. Heidi Gold-Dworkin and John DeRosa.”
The meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. in the Board of Education room.
