There will be holiday festivities at the Walnut Beach Art Stroll Dec. 19, including a tree lighting.

The members of the Boys & Girls Club of Milford will decorate a Christmas tree donated by Jones Tree Farms and Jason Uhrynowski with environmental and bird friendly ornaments they made.

People can meet at Walnut Beach Park on the corner of Naugatuck Avenue and East Broadway at 6 p.m. to hear the Boys & Girls Club Children’s Choir sing Christmas carols.

A tree lighting will take place between 6:15 and 6:30 p.m.

The Art Stroll will continue at Sobobo Gallery, 42 Naugatuck Avenue, where disc jockey Brian Smith will fill the air with holiday music as Sobobo celebrates the artists and artisans whose works are on display.

Beach Gallery, 2 Broadway, will be spotlighting Jaden Bonfietti-Csvihinka, a sixth grader at Harborside Middle School, who will be playing holiday music on acoustic guitar.

Scoot & Paddle, 28 Naugatuck Avenue, will be open for the evening, as will Seaside Wines & Spirits at 38 Naugatuck Avenue.
