Walter Lee Goad Sr., 80, of Milford, appliance repairman for the Khales Electric, died Dec. 9, at Arden Courts in Hamden.
Born March 2, 1935 to the late Robert Leo and Gladys Doolittle Goad; Army National Guard.
Survived by his son, Walter Goad Jr. and wife, Patricia, stepdaughter, Shannon O’Brien of Stratford, sisters, Lillian Stiewing of Milford, Roberta Lecardo of Branford, Patricia Dabrowski and Betty Shakespeare, both of Milford, two grandchildren, longtime friend, and many nieces and nephews.
Also predeceased by his brothers, Robert and Richard Goad, and his son, Andrew Goad. Visiting hours: Friday, Dec. 11, 4-7 p.m., Smith Funeral Home, 135 Broad Street, Milford. Burial will be at a later date.
