Claire McKiernan Donovan, 91, of Milford, formerly of East Haven, first grade teacher at Gerrish Avenue School in East Haven, wife of the late Gordon J. Donovan, died Nov. 1.
Born March 9, 1924 to the late James and Claire McKiernan.
Survived by her daughters, Sharon D. Yeakel and Diane D. Swartz; her sons, James G. Donovan and Jeffrey P. Donovan; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
