Edward Francis Gilbert, 86, of Milford, worked for U.S. Post Office, husband of the late Ann G. Gilbert, died Oct. 28.
Born March 14, 1929, in Hartford, son of the late Edward C. and Marie Seeman Gilbert; U.S. Army veteran.
Survived by five stepchildren, Anna Martone and her husband, Anthony of East Haven, Patricia Ilioff and her husband, Charles, Carol Gamble Feola, all of Milford, James Gamble and his wife, Lorraine of Middletown and Jeffery Gamble and his wife, Christine of Milford; nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, many cousins and friends.
Also predeceased by an infant brother, his first wife, Etta Gilbert, stepson, Henry J. Gamble and stepgrandson.
Burial: St. Mary Cemetery, Milford.
