Foran High played host to the cross country teams from Jonathan Law, West Haven, Sacred Heart Academy-Hamden and Notre Dame of West Haven at the 3.1 mile course at Eisenhower Park on Tuesday.
Jack Ardey won the boys meet for the host Lions with a time of 17.25.
Lily Stifler from Foran was the top girls runner, placing first in 21:34, followed by teammate Hannah Pouliot (22:39).
In the boys meet, Foran (7-3) defeated Law, 17-39, and West Haven, 19-44, and lost to Notre Dame, 26-29. Law (5-7) defeated West Haven, 19-44, and lost to Notre Dame, 15-43. Notre Dame (7-2) topped West Haven (1-8), 15-48.
In the girls meet, Foran (7-3) had wins over Law, 18-45, Sacred Heart Academy, 18-41, and West Haven. Law (3-10) defeated West Haven, 15-50, and lost to SHA, 23-35. SHA (6-3) defeated West Haven (0-9), 15-50.
The top boys runners were Ardrey (F), 17:05; 2. Mike DeLuca (ND), 17:38; 3. Mark Fitzpatrick (F), 17:45; 4. Ryan Conner (ND), 17:46; 5. Angel Chavez (ND), 18:33; 6. Matt Dader (ND), 18:39; 7. Ryan Griffin (F), 18:40; 8. Kevin Preneta (F), 18:44; 9. Chris Laberti (ND), 18:45; and 10. Ryan Wasserman (L), 18:51.
In the girls meet, the top runners were Stiffler (F), 21:34; Pouliot (F), 22:39; 3. Lauren Paredes (L), 22:43; 4. Rachel Joyce (S), 22:57; 5. Kiersten Conner (F), 23:20; 6. Erin Dillman (F), 24:03; 7. Samantha Inthapanhya (F), 24:23; 8. Jess Filardi (S), 24:37; 9. Jenna French (F), 24:31; and 10. Cassandra Soda (L), 24:33.
