The City of Milford Employment and Training Office is offering a free eight-week nursing assistant program. Applications are being accepted.
There are eligibility guidelines. The first route of eligibility is for people 18 to 24 years old who are economically disadvantaged or in one or more of the following categories: a high school dropout and/or basic skills deficient person; unemployed and/or underemployed with a poor work history; or a teen parent.
The second route of eligibility is for adults that are over the age of 18, who are economically disadvantaged or receive state assistance. A high school diploma is not required.
