A Milford woman was charged with breach of peace after allegedly getting into a fight with another woman in downtown Milford.
Police said the incident took place Sept. 16 at 9:45 a.m. at 57 New Haven Avenue. Melissa Sharretto, 37, of 103 New Haven Avenue, was charged with breach of peace 2nd and assault 3rd. Police said they responded to the area of New Haven Avenue near Shipyard Lane on the report of a fight.
Sharretto is accused of engaging in a physical altercation with another female. She was released from police custody on her promise to appear in court Oct. 13.
