Not only was a Waterbury man charged with shoplifting in Milford Sept. 15, he was also charged with shopping with someone he wasn’t supposed to have contact with.
According to police, Nicholas Szustecki, 28, of Waterbury, is accused of taking $77.93 worth of merchandise from K-Mart without paying for it. Further investigation revealed Szustecki had arrived with a female who holds a full no-contact protective order against him.
Szustecki was charged with larceny and violating a protective order. He was released from police custody on a promise to appear in court Sept. 16.
