The following students from Connecticut have been named to the Dean’s List for the Spring 2015 semester at Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester: Daniel Sullivan, with a BS in Environmental Science.
Caitlin Prete has made the Dean’s honor list with straight As and a 3.958 GPA average for all four semesters at Albertus Magnus College. She also led her volleyball team as Captain in her sophomore year with 180 kills, 258 digs, and a total of 201 pts. scored. She was also picked as the Purchase University in New York GNAC All-Tournament MVP in her sophomore year and in her freshman year she was picked as the GNAC All-Tournament MVP in the Newbury College tournament in Mass and also received the GNAC All-Sportsmanship Award. Now she’s been accepted and will move on to Quinnipiac University for her bachelors in Accounting and Masters in Business Management.
William Ritz, Milford, son of Michele and William Ritz and a graduate of Joseph A Foran H S, graduated from Bucknell University with a Bachelor of Science degree in geology.
The following local residents were among more than 800 students from Providence College who received undergraduate degrees during the College’s Ninety-Seventh Commencement Exercises held on Sunday, May 17:
Patrick Benedosso received a bachelor’s degree.
Mildred McGrath received a bachelor’s degree.
Nicholas Willey received a bachelor’s degree.
Richard Patrick Giuliano, of Milford graduated on May 10 from Saint Michael’s College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
Tucker Schumitz of Milford took home four awards during Western New England University’s 13th annual Student Media Festival. Schumitz won First Place in Jury Award Music Video and People’s Choice Award Music Video category for his story titled Love is an Open Door. He also won First Place in Jury Award PSA/ Commercial and People’s Choice Award PSA/ Commercial category for his story titled Adopt a Pet. Schumitz is a Graduating Senior with a degree in Communication Media Theory and Production at the University.
Lindsey Marie Seyfried has been named to the president’s list at James Madison University for the spring 2015 semester.
Chandler Dugas received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology/Special Education from Marist College the weekend of May 23.

Mallory Marin, 20, was one of 53 Hofstra University students inducted into Phi Beta Kappa on April 23. Mallory is a Rhetorical Studies: Speech Communication major.
Sandra Baker of Milford graduated on May 9 during Emmanuel College’s 93rd Commencement Exercises on its campus in Boston. Baker received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a concentration in counseling and health during the ceremony. Baker graduated with distinction in the field of concentration.
The spring semester President’s List at Bryant University includes Amreen Ahmad, a Senior in International Business from Milford.
In honor of their outstanding academic achievement, Emmanuel College has named more than 500 students to the Dean’s List for the Spring 2015 semester, including Sandra Baker and Hannah Konicki of Milford.
Miranda Edson of Milford excelled during the Spring 2015 semester at Hofstra University, achieving a GPA of at least 3.5 to earn a spot on the Dean’s List.
