Police arrested a Milford man June 10 in connection with a home invasion at a Calf Pen Lane residence June 3.
Christopher Glover, 27 of 26 Kenmore Lane in Milford was identified as a suspect by investigators with the assistance of the Connecticut State Police Crime Lab, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Glover is charged with Home Invasion 53a-100aa, Burglary 2nd 53a-102 and Criminal Attempt to Commit Assault 1st 53a-49/53a-59. He was held on a $250,000 bond and transported to Milford Superior Court for arraignment Wednesday afternoon.
The home invasion reportedly took place June 3 at 3:26 a.m. at a Calf Pen Lane home.
Police said a man entered the rear of the residence. A resident woke up after hearing noises in the home and found the man going through the property. The suspect brandished a knife when the resident attempted to restrain him and fled from the residence, according to a police report.
This isn’t the first time Glover has been arrested. He was arrested last October and charged with a pair of burglaries last April and May on Campfield Circle and Myers Lane.
According to police, both of those crimes occurred overnight, within a close proximity of each other, and within a two-week time frame. Glover was charged with the crimes, accused of taking laptops, cell phones and other electronics from the homes.
Glover was charged with two counts of third-degree burglary, third-degree larceny and fourth-degree larceny following that earlier arrest.
