Disorderly conduct
Milford police issued an arrest warrant for John Huelsman, 50, of Hamden on May 11 after they concluded an investigation into a May 2 complaint regarding a disturbance at a Woodmont road residence.
Police are accusing Huelsman of striking a companion during the incident.
Huelsman is charged with disorderly conduct. He was released on a promise to appear in court on May 12.
Bad checks
Milford police issued an arrest warrant on May 14 for Bryant Esparo, 51, of Durham after they say he issued multiple bad checks at Costco in December of last year.
Police say they received the complaint regarding the three bad checks from Costco Wholesale Club on Dec. 23, 2014. Investigation led to an arrest warrant being issued for Esparo, who is accused of issuing the checks from his account, which had insufficient funds.
The total amount of the checks was $2,434.18.
Esparo is charged with three counts of issuing a bad check and third-degree larceny.
He was released on a promise to appear in court on June 9.
Disorderly conduct
Milford police arrested Jeffrey Stamatin, 52, of an uncertain address on May 14 after they received a complaint regarding a disturbance at a Penn Common residence.
Investigation led to the arrest of Stamatin, who is accused of causing a disturbance with a relative and interfering when the relative was attempting to call police for assistance.
Stamatin is charged with disorderly conduct and interfering with an emergency call.
He was released on a promise to appear in court on May 15.
Drug offense
Milford police arrested Mark Rivera, 25, of Stratford on May 14 after they stopped a vehicle on Old Gate Lane for a cell phone violation.
During the stop, police found that Rivera was in possession of marijuana and a narcotic prescription medication not prescribed to him.
Rivera is charged with possession of narcotics, illegal storage of narcotics, possession of less than one-half ounce of marijuana, and illegal use of a cell phone.
He was released on a promise to appear in court on June 9.
Shoplifting
Milford police issued an arrest warrant for Casey Dunne, 24, of Florida on May 15 after they completed an investigation into a December 2014 complaint regarding a shoplifting that occurred at Macy’s.
Investigation led to an arrest warrant being issued for Dunne, who is accused of taking $1,229.99 worth of clothing from the store without paying for it.
Dunne is charged with fourth-degree larceny.
He was released on a promise to appear in court on June 9.
