The annual ‘Light Up the Harbor’ Spring Gala and auction to benefit the Beth-El Center will be held at the Milford Yacht Club on Saturday, May 30, from 6 to 11 p.m.

The evening’s emcee is FoxCT Morning News Anchor Tim Lammers. There will be a cocktail hour, dinner, music and both live and silent auctions. All proceeds will help the Beth-El Center care for and meet the needs of the homeless and hungry in the Milford community.

“As our largest fund-raiser of the year, the proceeds from this event provide Beth-El with the funding necessary to assist the most vulnerable in our society,” said Toni Dolan, Beth-El Executive Director. “The local community and our many supporters do so much to facilitate our work and we are deeply grateful.”

The gala’s theme is Sail Into Summer, and one of the live auction prizes is a Long Island Sound sunset cruise for four on a 36′ racing sailboat with champagne, hors d’oeuvres, skipper and first mate provided.

Other auction items include four Yankees tickets with seats in the upper deck directly behind home plate plus a variety of local treasures and fun experiences. Milford resident and Beth-El Board President Ed Davies will serve as auctioneer.

Gold and Silver level sponsors include: The Meisenheimer Foundation, The Milford Bank, OEM Sources LLC and Michael and Suzanne Lyngaas.  Bronze sponsors include: Community Foundation for Greater New Haven, Ed and Candace Davies,  Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home, Susan Lapine and Don Mroz, Kiwanis Club of Milford and Sensitive Care Cosmetic & Family Dentistry.

Tickets for the Gala are $100 per person. To secure tickets, visit bethelmilford.org or call 203.876.0747.
