Milford Public Library is participating through May 15 in Dash for the Stash, a chance to win a $1,000 IRA. The Connecticut Department of Banking is sponsoring the contest for financial literacy month.
The contest works like a scavenger hunt, but instead of collecting objects, players gather information and leave answers to quiz questions.
To play, participants have to go to the Milford Public Library and find four posters. They will read each poster, access the quiz question and choose an answer.
The Milford Public Library will also display financial investor materials. No purchase is necessary. Winners will be chosen in a random drawing of eligible participants who log the correct answer for all four posters.
