George is a writer. Jennie is an actress. George lost his wife. Jennie divorced her husband. George’s brother Leo and Jennie’s friend Faye both think George and Jennie would be perfect together. When they meet, the chemistry is unmistakable. But can either of them trust themselves enough to put the past aside and take the next step in writing the story of their lives?
Roles are available for four actors, two male and two female. Age ranges from 30s to 50s, with some flexibility. Actors will be asked to read sides from the script.
Available roles are as follows:
George Schneider, 40-50. Writer of successful spy stories and unsuccessful novels. A little introverted, with a dry sense of humor.
Leo Schneider, 40s. George’s brother. More outgoing, more polished, more assertive. Looks after his brother.
Jennie Malone, 30s. An actress, pretty but approachable. Easy going manner.
Faye Medwick, 30-40. Jennie’s best friend. Less polished, a straight shooter. Comically assertive.
