The P.V. O’Donnell Comhaltas chapter will sponsor a session with Uilleann piper extraordinaire Mattie Connolly on Thursday, Sept. 19, at St. Gabriel’s Parish Hall, 26 Broadway,, 7:45 p.m. All are welcome, admission is free, BYOB. In 1980 Mattie won the Senior All Ireland uilleann pipe championship, and in 1981 he was a member of the U.S.A. and Canadian Comhaltas tour.
