To the Editor:
As a Connecticut Gold Star father, I would like to thank St. Ann’s Parish in Milford for allowing the Connecticut Fallen Heroes Foundation to use their parish hall as a venue for their fund-raiser, Modern Country Dance.
It was a wonderful event organized by Kathy Norris with four hours of nonstop Country/Western music, presented by the renowned DJ John “Cadillac” Saville. Everyone there had a tremendous fun-filled evening while providing enormous support for the Connecticut Fallen Heroes Foundation.
The CFHF’s sole mission is to insure that the Fallen Heroes of Connecticut, and the families they left behind, are honored and never forgotten. Their annual public tribute, coming up in September, is a patriotic event, with representation from our military services, honoring individual fallen heroes and all of Connecticut’s Gold Star Families.
