The guest speaker will be Carol Ann Waugh fiber artist and quilter, with a lecture on “How did I get there from here.” The group will collect nonperishable food items for the Bridgeport Rescue Mission this month. Eastern Star — Lucia Chapter #25 Order of the Eastern Star of Milford will hold a meeting on Thursday March 12, at 7:30 p.m. in the Masonic Lodge Hall 59 Broad Street in Milford, under the direction of Worthy Matron Wendy Dubois Batterton.
This will be the annual meeting with reading of reports, election of officers, and installation of the new officers.

Royal Arch Masons — Milford Chapter #49 Royal Arch Masons will hold a meeting on Tuesday, March 10, at 7:30 p.m. in the Masonic Lodge Hall, 59 Broad Street in Milford under the direction of the High Priest Richard Korab.
Dinner will be served in the banquet hall at 6:30 p.m. for those who make reservations with the secretary.

Redefining Retirement — Women Redefining Retirement meet on Monday, March 9, at 7 p.m. at Golden Hill Health Care Center, 2028 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford. Mathew Duman, photographer and graphic designer at Kof C headquarters in New Haven, will present a program about gargoyles that can be found carved into walls, arches, cornices and towers of Yale University buildings. The Action Committee will be collecting candy and small items for Easter baskets for Covenant of Care.
St. Mary Guild — Saint Mary Guild of Milford will meet Monday, March 10, at 7 p.m. in the Father Cronin Hall. All women of the parish are invited. Refreshments will be served. The program for the evening will be announced in the church bulletin.
