Gerald V. Ritz
Gerald V. Ritz, 82, a longtime resident of Milford and beloved husband of the late Mary Lou Ritz, passed away peacefully at home on February 19, 2015.
He was born on April 13, 1932, to the late Clifford and Catherine Ritz. Gerald was a dedicated employee of Milford Fabricating Co.
He leaves behind his sister Barbara McCollum of IL; his children: Gary Ritz, Sr. of NC, Karen Kane of Colchester, and Robert Ritz of Milford; his grandchildren: Gary Ritz, Jr., James Ritz, Brian Ritz, Jason Kane and Marissa LaHaie; also, his 7 great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his brother Francis Ritz and sister Monica Williams.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on February 24, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Agnes Church, 400 Merwin Ave., Milford, CT. Friends and family may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on February 23, 2015, at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street, Milford, CT.
