Robert Wright, 66, of Milford, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 in his home.
He was born on February 16, 1948 in North Adams, MA to the late Milford and Margaret Bennett Wright.
An active member of the community, he was a member of Union Laborers Local #665 for more than 33 years, a lifelong member of the Harbor Valley Yacht Club in Shelton, and a member of the Moose Lodge in Stratford.
He will be remembered for his love of flea markets, tag sales, boating and collecting of everything. A caring man, he was great to all who knew him.
Mr. Wright is survived by his devoted son Robert C. Wright Jr. and his wife Diana of Milford, granddaughter Christina Wright, great granddaughter Angelina, brothers M. Peter Wright of MA and Christopher Wright of FL and many special friends.
Calling hours are Sunday, February 15, 2015 from 3pm to 6pm at the Smith Funeral Home, 135 N. Broad St., Milford. Interment will be private.
