First Congregational Church of Stratford will hold its annual New Orleans-style jazz worship service, “Fat Sunday”, Sunday, Feb. 15. The musical service reflects events which occur in New Orleans’ churches at this festive pre-Lenten season. Headlining the service will be Vintage Brass Quintet of Milford, accompanied by Dr. Joe Utterback on piano and Brian Coralian on percussion. Vocalists Michael Jovovich (of Milford) and Jackie Ray will also perform as will the church’s senior choir. A special offering will be collected for Back Bay Mission of Biloxi, Mississippi.
