Jonathan Law’s Max German earned the Most Outstanding Wrestler Award at the Law Invitational on Saturday.
German, a senior, placed first in the 170-pound weight class for coach Matt Schoonmaker’s team.
Fairfield Prep (227.5) finished first, followed by Shelton High (215.5), Law (164.5) East Haven (159.5) and Notre Dame-Fairfield (119) in the matches between 16 teams.
Law’s Tim Rebentisch won the 132-pound title and Sean Berg was first at 138 pounds.
Dan Ouelette was runner-up at 145 and Devin Bannon was second at 152 pounds.
Zach Anderson was third at 106 pounds.
