Milford Police Reports: Feb. 6

Disturbance

Milford police arrested a pair of residents on Jan. 26 after they received a complaint regarding a disturbance between Cody Chizmadia, 19, of Milford and Franklin Bull, 45, of Milford.

Police say that Bull allegedly locked Chizmadia out of their Hazelwood Avenue residence, before Chizmadia re-entered it by damaging a door. Chizmadia then struck Bull with an object, causing a minor injury.

Chizmadia is charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault. Bull is charged with disorderly conduct and criminal lockout.

Both men were released on a promise to appear in court.

Disturbance

Milford police arrested Austin Bacon, 22, of Milford on Jan. 26 after they received a complaint regarding a disturbance at a Ford Street residence.

Police accuse Bacon of grabbing his companion by the neck and pushing her down, causing her to fall into a child car seat occupied by their child. Police say they also seized a stolen firearm that Bacon had at the residence. Police notified the Department of Children and Families of the incident.

Bacon is charged with disorderly conduct, risk of injury and sixth-degree larceny.

He was released on a promise to appear in court.

Assault

Milford police arrested Kenneth Muzzy, 51, of Milford on Jan. 26 after they received a complaint regarding a disturbance at a Naugatuck Avenue residence.

Investigation led to the arrest of Muzzy, who is accused of assaulting and throwing household items at a companion. Muzzy is charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.

He was released on a promise to appear in court on Jan. 28.

Assault

A Milford woman was arrested Jan. 28 for allegedly striking her spouse during an argument.

The incident happened on Chestnut Lane at about 11:30 p.m. Police said Remya Krishnamoorthy, 31, got into an argument with her spouse and struck him. She was charged with assault in the third degree and risk of injury.

She was released from police custody on her promise to appear in court.

Assault

A Gippers customer became angry and struck an employee who announced it was time for the bar to close at 4 a.m. Jan. 31, according to a police report.

Police said Jordan Randall Nucifora, 23, of Milford, was at Gippers on Old Gate Lane when an employee started cleaning the bar at closing time and asked the remaining patrons to leave.

Nucifora became “belligerent,” a police report states, and struck the employee.

Nucifora was charged with breach of peace and assault in the third degree, and was released from police custody on his promise to appear in court Feb. 24.

Strangulation

Milford police arrested Nicholas Demayo, 46, of Milford on Jan. 31 after they received a complaint of a disturbance in a home on Cornflower Drive.

Investigation led to the arrest of Demayo, who is accused of grabbing a family member by the neck during a dispute.

Demayo is charged with third-degree strangulation, disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.

He was released on a promise to appear in court.
