Church yoga — St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 283 Bridgeport Ave., is offering free “Yoga for Recovery,” the first Sunday of the month at 12:30 p.m., in Faith Hall. Bring a yoga mat. Church dinner — Grace Baptist Church, 400 Burnt Plains Rd., is serving dinners on Wednesday evenings from 5 to 6 p.m., $5 per person and $20 per family, children under 3 eat free. Feel free to stay for “Family Night” following dinner from 6:30 to 8 p.m. There’s childcare, a new state of the art youth center for teens grades 6-12. Caring Network — The Caring Network, a free ongoing support group for adults who have lost a loved one through death, meets the first and third Wednesdays of every month, at Bridges, 949 Bridgeport Avenue in Milford, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Adults do not need to register. The group is facilitated by a Bridges counselor and is sponsored by Bridges…A Community Support System, and Cody-White Funeral Home.

Boating safety — USCG Auxiliary 24-3 is offering About Boating Safety course on Saturday, Jan. 31. For advanced registration, go to a0142403.uscgaux.info/. The USCG Auxiliary Flotilla 24-3 Training Center is located at 1 Helwig Street. Walk-ins are welcome.

Class will start at 8 a.m. Instruction will cover all the basic topics involved in the safe operation of recreational boating and seamanship. It will also cover safe personal watercraft operation. Successful completion of this 8 hour ABS course satisfies the Connecticut licensing requirements for both boats and Personal Watercraft (PWC). Family participation is encouraged. Cost: $60.

Warren reunion — Warren Harding High School will hold its 50 year reunion. Alumni, Classes ’65 and ’64, will celebrate a joint reunion, June 13, 7 p.m.-midnight, at Costa-Azzurra Restaurant, 72 Broadway. Prepaid reservations are $60 and include buffet dining and dancing to Flashback. Cash bar, alumni awards and raffles. Limited seating. No tickets will be sold at the door. Dinner with the Doctor — On Tuesday, Feb. 10, Milford Hospital will host the first in a new series of “Dinner with the Doc” programs. February’s session, titled “Heart Smart,” will be led by Milford Hospital Cardiologist Dr. Clifford Kramer. During his heart health presentation, Dr. Kramer will discuss prevention, diagnosis and treatment options for cardiovascular disease. The session begins at 6 p.m. A light, healthy meal will be served. Time will be allowed for questions and answers following the presentation. Registration is required and seating is limited. Al-Anon — Are you troubled by someone’s drinking? Al-Anon can help and welcomes all those who have family or friends with drinking problems. Bottle drive — Jonathan Law Marching Band & Color Guard will hold a can and bottle drive on the third Saturday of every month, from 9 to 11 a.m. in the Jonathan Law parking lot.
