Football state playoffs on HAN Radio

This weekend, HAN Radio presents two state semifinal games. The FCIAC champion and Class L Small Division top-seeded Darien Blue Wave (11-0) host the No. 4 Naugatuck Greyhounds (9-2) at 1 p.m. Rob Adams, Paul Silverfarb, Eric Gendron, and Alex Hager will bring the action from Darien High School. At 2 p.m., Chris Kaelin, John Kovach, and New Canaan Advertiser sports editor Dave Stewart have the call as No. 2 New Canaan (9-1) hosts No. 3 Wethersfield (11-0) at Dunning Field in the other Class L Small Division semifinal. The game can be heard on ncadvertiser.com.
HAN Radio will also have updates on the other semifinal games from around the state.
In Class LL Small Division, No. 2 Shelton (11-0) plays host to No. 3 Hall of West Hartford (8-2).
In Class M Small Division, No. 2 St. Joseph (9-2) plays No. 3 Ellington/Somers (9-2).
In Class S Large Division, No. 2 Ansonia (10-1) plays No. 3 Windham (9-1).
