Parents of a young adult with autism, Asperger Syndrome, Down Syndrome or intellectual disabilities who are exploring the next step in education and independence may check out Chapel Haven’s award-winning program at an open house Sept. 13
The open house will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Chapel Haven, 1040 Whalley Ave. in New Haven. The event includes a light breakfast. Attendees will get an overview of Chapel Haven, listen to student panels and tour two of its programs, REACH and Asperger Syndrome Adult Transition Program.
Chapel Haven is a nationally accredited, private, non-profit school and post-secondary program that teaches adults with autism and other cognitive disabilities to live independent lives.
