The Walnut Beach business district will host the Third Thursday Art Stroll on Thursday, Nov. 20 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sponsors are promising music, art, shopping, fun, food and conversation.
There will be live music by Gene Grenier during the Wild Expressions Annual Chili Cook-off. Attendees can sample chili submissions at the shop which is located at 16 Broadway. Seaside Wine & Spirits will offer wine tasting during the Chili Cook-off.
Also, artist calligrapher Sandy will be available to personalize merchandise.
The Beach Gallery located at 2 Broadway will over a sneak peak at the soon to be printed Maps & Scraps authored by Elizabeth Wright and Ellie Benefico. Pre-orders and sales will be taken at the Art Stroll. Also being featured is photographer, Chris Healey, who will display Walnut Beach: As you’ve never seen it before. There will be plenty of art, crafts, jewelry and much more on display and for sale.
The Firehouse Gallery located at 81 Naugatuck Avenue will be open and offering guests a reception with cheese & crackers and soda. Local artwork in the theme of “Winter” will be on display. Most art is available for purchase.
The Artist’s Collective located at 42 Naugatuck Avenue is a new addition to the Walnut Beach area and will host its grand opening during the Art Stroll. The Artist’s Collective is described as the first holiday pop-up shop in Walnut Beach. Local artists are offering original and one of a kind items for the holiday shopping season.
Scoot & Paddle located at 28 Naugatuck Avenue will feature decorated holiday trees on display from Digtrees.com. The trees can be ordered and delivered free of charge. Scoot and Paddle will be offering locally brewed Two Roads beer samples.
Seaside Wine & Spirits located at 38 Naugatuck Avenue will offer wine samples at Wild Expressions during the Chili Cook-off and will be open during the stroll.
Taste & See Gourmet Cupcakes located at 17 Broadway will be open for business offering cupcakes, coffee and assorted baked goods for the holiday.
