A resident sent in this photograph of a car accident at the corner of North Street and Hitching Post Lane Sept. 12.
The resident said a family was feeding the ducks and parked their van on North Street heading south. They were not in the van at the time. Another driver heading south on North Street plowed into the back of the van, driving onto the curb and sidewalk, the resident said.
Air bags went off; no one was injured. Five police vehicles, two fire department vehicles, one ambulance, and two wreckers were all on the scene.
