The Milford Police Department are investigating a fatal car accident that occurred on Sept. 11 at approximately 11:40 a.m.
Police say that Judith Pierce, 73, of Milford was traveling Eastbound on New Haven Avenue approaching the intersection of Settlers Ridge Road when her car traveled off the roadway and struck a tree.
According to police, Pierce was pronounced dead at the scene.
The vehicle she was operating was a 2009 Nissan Versa color blue.
