Solemn and patriotic music filled the air for Milford’s Sept. 11 ceremony Thursday evening.
City and state officials, firefighters, police officers and residents gathered at the Sept. 11 monument behind City Hall Thursday evening to remember the people killed on September 11, 2001, when terrorists attacked the country.
Prayers and speeches focused on the need to remember those lost that day, but to also remember the way people united after the attacks.
