The Milford Police Department is investigating an incident that occurred Tuesday at 1:29 a.m. at 31 Lafayette Street, during which two people received minor stab wounds.
Police said they got 911 calls early in the morning regarding a disturbance in front of the house. Police and emergency medical services arrived and treated a 50-year-old man for two non-life threatening stab wounds, a 20-year-old woman victim for a hand laceration and a 21-year-old man for other minor injuries.
Investigators determined that all of the involved parties are known to each other.
Police took Gustave Meyers, 21, into custody at the scene for his alleged involvement in the altercation. Meyers has been charged with assault and breach of peace and is being held on a $25,000 bond pending arraignment at Milford Superior Court today.
Lafayette Street is at the end of the Milford green, a short walk from downtown.
Police are continuing to investigate this incident.
